Desktop Client ​

The desktop client lets your PryFox AI agent team work on your computer: just add a project key to connect and set an agent working directory. Once connected, your agent team can access everything on your computer, use the tools already installed on your machine (bun, Python, etc.) for production and creation, and all outputs are saved to the working directory on your computer.

Download & Install ​

  • Download: Get the latest installer from GitHub Releases
  • macOS: Download the .dmg, open it, and drag PryFox.AI into your Applications folder
  • Windows: Download the installer (.exe) and follow the on-screen instructions
  • Linux: Download the .AppImage / .deb package and follow the on-screen instructions

Getting Started ​

1. Install the client and initialize tools ​

Download and install the desktop client. On launch, the client automatically checks the tool environment (bun, Python, etc.) and installs any missing tools in the background — no manual action needed. You can also view the installation status of each tool in the client's Settings screen and install or reinstall them manually anytime.

2. Create an authorization key ​

On the web, open your agent team:

  1. Go to "Agent Team Settings"
  2. Open "Authorization Management"
  3. Click "Create New Authorization"
  4. Enter a name, choose type "API Key"
  5. Copy the generated key

3. Add a project in the client ​

  1. Back in the desktop client, click the "+" button at the bottom right and add a project
  2. Enter the authorization key from the previous step
  3. Choose an agent working directory (an empty directory is recommended)
  4. Confirm to complete the connection

4. Start working ​

Once connected, assign tasks to your agent team. Agents will read information on your computer, call local tools to produce and create, and write all outputs into the working directory you set.

Q: Which systems are supported? ​

A: Currently macOS (Apple Silicon / Intel), Windows, and Linux.

Q: Where do I create the authorization key? ​

A: On the web: "Agent Team Settings" → "Authorization Management" → "Create New Authorization", and choose type "API Key".

Q: Are there any requirements for the working directory? ​

A: An empty directory is recommended as the agent working directory, making it easier to manage outputs.
